Thank you for considering a role in our Hong Kong office. We run a formal analyst internship program where, three times a year, we bring two interns on board from leading universities for a three to six month paid internship. Our Hong Kong office covers Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and Greater China, but interns are based in Hong Kong.

Our goal with the internship program is to identify suitable full-time analyst candidates for BDA. During the internship you get to learn about M&A and work on live transactions and we get to assess you in advance of graduation to see if you would be a good fit with us. We are an active supporter of Hong Kong’s universities and are pleased to be able to offer valuable work experience to university students in Hong Kong.

A career with BDA is dynamic and rewarding and provides excellent opportunities for international work, training, career advancement and remuneration. Given our high quality cross border deal flow, successful candidates will obtain significant hands on experience and responsibility early in their careers, and have advancement opportunities within BDA globally.  Full time analysts typically join in June before attending the one month analyst training program in Chicago.

Due to employment visa regulations in Hong Kong we limit our internship offers to Hong Kong Permanent Residents, students at one of the universities in Hong Kong, or candidate with existing IANG visas. Unfortunately if you do not fall within one of these groups it is not practical for us to get you a work visa for an internship.

Our internship periods and application dates are as follows:
