China now accounts for 25% of global luxury spending, but this year, China&#8217;s growth has slowed to a trickle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>India<\/strong> today is a much smaller luxury market, representing 5% of global luxury spend, but it\u2019s suddenly seeing explosive growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GDP growth, 8.2% in 2023<\/strong>, lit the touch paper. Next: the fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India is the fastest-growing major global economy. Political reform and a <strong>fast-growing, hyper-aspirational, young middle-class<\/strong> are driving India toward being the third largest consumer market globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The luxury and ultra-luxury sectors, across <strong>real estate, hospitality, apparel, accessories and automotive<\/strong>, are witnessing phenomenal growth.
