BDA Partners is pleased to announce that it has successfully introduced new strategic and financial investors to Windham Mountain, on behalf of Windham’s existing shareholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new investment comes from two hospitality and resort development families whose combined industry experience is over a hundred years: the Beall family, and the Kemmons Wilson family, who are behind the Holiday Inn hotel chain. This new investment will provide growth capital and additional resources to the current management team, allowing Windham Mountain to continue to evolve, creating a premium year-round family resort experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Windham Mountain is in the Catskills and famous for its world-class skiing and snowboarding with 54 trails on 285 skiable acres. Windham is two and a half hours north of New York City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the past 5 years, Windham’s Board and investor group – including North Castle Partners, Cloverhill Group, and the McGuffog and Starker families \u2013 have partnered with management to drive substantial investments in the mountain experience, in particular in upgrades to snowmaking and chairlifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
