EMC is the premier environmental services provider in Korea, with market-leading businesses in water treatment, incineration, landfill and waste oil refining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Citi Global Market Securities was jointly awarded as the sellside advisor on the deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Korea IB Awards are held by The Korea Economic Daily (Hankyung), the leading Korean publisher on economic and financial news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The transaction is recognized as the biggest ESG deal to date by a Korean conglomerate. This has paved the way for other conglomerates to consider more seriously an ESG approach to local and overseas inorganic growth.
