Blake Swift is a Vice President based in Tokyo.

Before joining BDA, he worked at Mizuho Securities’ Global Investment Banking Division as a Vice President on the M&A Products team. He focused mainly on the execution of cross-border transactions as well as advising private equity funds on acquisitions and portfolio company exits. He has 10 years of M&A experience, having previously worked at Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC in their Corporate Financial Advisory Division and at Frontier Management Inc. He started his career as an equity sales trader at SMBC Nikko Securities, servicing offshore hedge funds and other financial institutions. He holds a BA in International Relations from Temple University, Japan Campus. He is fluent in Japanese and English.
