BDA strengthens senior team in Tokyo
BDA Partners announces that Mr. Atsushi Masuda has joined the BDA senior team in Tokyo, from Toshiba Corporation.
Masuda-san joins as Senior Advisor, to strengthen BDA’s corporate coverage, and to bring industry expertise.
Masuda-san played key roles in Toshiba over the course of a long career there. He was Executive Fellow in Global Business Development, Marketing Executive (equivalent to director), and Executive Assistant to the President of Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions. He was an overseas business leader for Toshiba for 35 years. He was involved in many Toshiba acquisitions & divestments, and played a significant role in Toshiba decision-making. He’s a hands-on professional, who has successfully completed many transformational corporate projects.
He initiated and executed projects in Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy, Smart Grids, IPPs, Oil & Gas, Batteries for Utilities, Railways and Automotive. He has expertise in the EPC sector.
He has worked extensively in Australia, Brazil, China, India, Italy, across the Middle East, and in the US. He was based in Brazil and China for 11 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Waseda University. He’s a native Japanese speaker, and is fluent in English.
