Edmund Price joins BDA as Head of Financial Institutions Advisory

BDA Partners is pleased to announce that Edmund Price has joined the firm, based in Hong Kong, as Managing Director and Head of BDA’s Financial Institutions Group. In this newly formed role, Mr. Price will work with BDA’s global bankers to extend BDA’s M&A advisory and capital raising capabilities for financial institutions across Asia.

Mr. Price has almost 20 years of M&A advisory experience in Asia and has advised on US$35bn of completed M&A transactions. Before joining BDA, he spent a decade as a Managing Director in the Asian Financial Institutions Groups of UBS and Macquarie, based in Hong Kong. He began his career in London with Barclays/BZW, before moving to Asia with Jardine Fleming. He has worked on transactions in most Asian markets and completed transactions with clients including Bank Negara Indonesia, Cable & Wireless HKT, China Pacific Insurance, China Taiping Insurance, Pacific Century Insurance, Shinhan Financial, Standard Chartered, and UBS. He holds a MA in Modern History from Worcester College, Oxford, and a Masters in Finance from the London Business School.
