Euan Rellie on Bloomberg TV: Investors weigh China risks
BDA’s Managing Partner and co-founder Euan Rellie was featured on Bloomberg TV, sharing his views on the China markets amid the Evergrande crisis:
- There are good opportunities for investors in sectors like healthcare, tech and consumer
- Investors are also starting to look at second-tier, mid-sized companies, rather than the traditional giants
- There is still long-term attraction in the Chinese market for private equity investors, retail and institutional investors. It is historically the most important market for BDA, as an investment bank focused on Asia
- But investors should consider a more balanced approach rather than overexposure to China. India has great potential, and BDA has also done well in markets like Vietnam and Korea. Asia as a whole will continue to emerge
