BDA wins two awards at Americas M&A Atlas Awards Gala

Business Development Asia LLC (“BDA”) has received recognition for its expertise in corporate finance advice on crossborder mid-market transactions between North America and Asia, in the form of the “Cross Border M&A Deal of the Year” award in its category, by Global M&A Network.

BDA acted as exclusive buy-side advisor to Molex Inc, a global electronic components company headquartered in Lisle, Illinois, on the acquisition of Zhenjiang Tean Telecom & Appliances, a Chinese manufacturer of radio frequency and microwave products, in November 2009.

Euan Rellie, BDA’s co-founder and Senior Managing Director, also received the “Boutique M&A Investment Banker of the Year” award, honoring him for completing several transactions including the divestment of Pfizer Inc’s animal vaccine business in China to Harbin Pharmaceutical, as well as Molex’s acquisition of Zhenjiang Tean.
