Managing Director, Head of Singapore, Head of Consumer & Retail and Health Southeast Asia

Saurabh Gupta is a Managing Director based in Singapore with over 20 years of investment banking experience across Asia.
He has extensive experience advising leading corporates, entrepreneur-led businesses, and global and regional financial sponsors across the consumer, retail and healthcare sectors. He has advised on transactions aggregating more than US$40 billion in value across mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and leveraged finance.
Prior to joining BDA, Saurabh was Head of Consumer, Retail and Healthcare for Asia Pacific at Mizuho. Previously, he held senior investment banking roles at Maybank, Merrill Lynch/Bank of America and HSBC.
Saurabh completed an Executive Program in Investment Banking from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He is fluent in English and Hindi and is a recreational pilot.
