    Financial Sponsor Support Analyst, Mumbai

    BDA Partners is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Analyst for Financial Sponsors Group based at our Mumbai office. We provide an excellent opportunity to work with high profile clients in cross-border deals involving Asia as well as mid-market Indian transactions across selected sectors focusing on sell-side, buy-side and capital raising.

    BDA’s Financial Sponsors Coverage Group is one of the broadest and deepest in Asia, with seven senior bankers dedicated to the Private Equity community in Asia and 20 coverage bankers covering globally.

    You will play a critical role in supporting and promoting Financial Sponsor Group (FSG) activities, with a focus on market insights, client engagement, data management, and marketing support for our MUM team. You will collaborate closely with MUM senior bankers and internal teams to deliver high-quality research, analysis, and materials, enhancing our client coverage and relationship management within the private equity clients.

    Key responsibilities:

    Marketing support & mandate targeting

    • Maintain and update profiles for portfolio companies and sponsors
    • Coordinate target pipeline decks for sponsor meetings
    • Update the private equity brochure and standardize profiles for pitches
    • Lead planning and execution of PE-related events

    Portfolio & data management

    • Manage data sources and systems for tracking opportunities
    • Use advanced tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Salesforce) to monitor trends and client activities
    • Ensure Salesforce dashboards are updated for PE activities
    • Collaborate with IT for live reporting and regular activity tracking

    Internal management

    • Build relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with FSG services
    • Proactively meet coverage KPIs and coordinate coverage meetings
    • Serve as liaison with global FSG and MUM team to support Indian fund coverage
    • Monitor and strategize upcoming target mandates with key partners

    Private Equity market insight & analysis

    • Conduct research on market trends and produce PE trend reports.
    • Provide insights on buyer behavior, comps, and deal flow for focus funds

    Qualifications required

    We are interested in candidates who meet the following criteria. Prior experience in finance or banking is highly desirable.

  • Temporary Administrative Assistant at BDA HCMC

    Role of the Administrative Assistant

    BDA is looking to hire a Temporary Administrative Assistant to be based out of its HCMC office and reporting into the Head of the HCMC Office. You will be working closely together with the Head of office and other bankers to ensure the smooth function of the office and efficient management of the HCMC team.

    The ideal candidate for the role should have exceptional analytical abilities, a structured, data-driven approach to problem solving and an aptitude for working with a diverse team with different work styles.

    Responsibilities

    Your primary responsibilities are centred on providing secretarial support to the HCMC including but not restricted to:

    • Manage team’s calendars and schedule meetings
    • Answer phone calls, greet visitors, receive and manage mails and couriers
    • Prepare and assist in formatting letters, reports and marketing materials as required
    • Print and bind documents for the team
    • Organize teleconference, videoconference and room booking for meetings
    • Coordinate travel arrangements including visas, transportation and accommodations where applicable
    • Establish, organize, and maintain a filing system within the office for company record keeping purposes
    • Enter basic data into Salesforce such as company records and client contact details
    • Prepare monthly expense reports, MMM report every 2 weeks
    • Arrange for IT support where necessary
    • Manage and ensure adequate office and pantry supplies including stationery, drinks and sundry groceries
    • Procure BDA branded stationery and business cards, BDA brochures, Swag items for PEC event upon coordination with the Operations team
    • Coordinate with external vendors including couriers, building management office, service contractors, etc.
    • Employee related matters including maintaining personnel records for HCMC staff such as annual leaves as well as preparing documentation for new hires
    • Liaise with BDA finance team in connection with expense reports, invoices, cheque payments, etc.
    • Participate in various ad-hoc projects including organizing conferences, team events, CSR and BDA off-sites
    • Assist with compliance in business continuity matters where needed e.g. during the Covid-19 pandemic
    • Coordinate with external vendors to arrange work permit and TRC for foreigner staff
    • Support the establishment of BDA Vietnam company
    • Private insurance renewal yearly
    • Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Company

     

    Responsibilities as HR Support

    • Liaise with local universities for internship recruitment
    • Assist in on-boarding, orientation, benefits, expense claims, employee communications
    • Address employee queries regarding staffing, staff well-being, office management issues
    • Handle resignation process, and off-boarding plan
    • Keep track of leave application

     

    Responsibilities as IT Support

    • Manage the company’s IT equipment including laptops, copiers, desk phones and access cards (including programming and troubleshooting)
    • Record inventory
    • Liaise with vendors on renewal or purchase of IT equipment
