BDA Partners is the global investment banking advisor for Asia. We are a premium provider of Asia-related advice to sophisticated clients globally, with over 20 years’ experience advising on cross-border M&A, capital raising, and financial restructuring.
We have strategic partnerships with William Blair, a premier global investment banking business, and the Development Bank of Japan (DBJ), a Japanese government owned bank with total assets of US$150bn.
What makes us different?
- We specialise in offering independent, high-quality advice to sophisticated sellside clients.
- Our focus on Asia and Asia-related transactions is unique. No other independent advisor has the scale of dedicated M&A bankers across Asia. We work as a single, connected, trusted team across Asia, Europe and the US.
- We are a partnership, with equity broadly distributed across the firm. While many of us have worked together for a long time, we value new colleagues and new ideas. We have been in business 23 years and we understand the importance of trust, high quality advice and long term relationships

BDA Partners was founded in 1996, with the goal of providing premium, Asia-focused M&A advice. Many of us have been lucky to work together as one team serving excellent clients over more than two decades, building the business into the largest independent M&A advisory house focused on Asia.
From the outset, we have been focused on providing premium, Asia-focused M&A advice to both private equity firms and large corporate clients. Today, more than 85% of our revenues are generated from sellside transactions.
Our transactions have become increasingly multi-polar, with a significant amount of intra-Asia dealflow. With more than 100 dedicated bankers globally, we continue to provide independent, specialised advice across our six dedicated sectors, covering Chemicals, Consumer & Retail, Health, Industrials, Services and Technology.
