  • Internship at BDA Hong Kong

    BDA Partners is the global investment banking advisor for Asia. We are a premium provider of Asia-related advice to sophisticated clients globally, with over 20 years’​ experience advising on cross-border M&A, capital raising, and financial restructuring. We provide global reach with our teams in New York and London, and true regional depth through our seven Asian offices in Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Mumbai.     We run formal analyst internship program where, three times a year, we bring intern analysts on board from leading universities.  Our goal with the internship program is to identify suitable full-time analyst candidates for BDA. During the internship you get to learn about M&A and work on live transactions and we get to assess you in advance of graduation to see if you would be a good fit with us.

    Responsibilities

    Successful candidates will support deal teams with a wide variety of tasks around our M&A advisory mandates.  In particular, an Analyst Intern’s work will typically cover the following:

    • Conduct research and analysis for:
      • Target profiles
      • Industry analysis
      • Potential buyer profiles
      • Comparable listed companies valuation
      • Comparable transactions valuation
    • Assist drafting of important pitch documents and marketing materials
      • Pitch books for potential transactions
      • Marketing documents for mergers and acquisitions mandates, such as teasers, information memorandums and management presentations
    • Attend meetings with clients and counterparties, and prepare concise, insightful notes on the meeting

    Job Qualifications

    We are interested in candidates who meet the following criteria.  Prior experience in finance or banking is highly desirable.  Priority will be given to candidates in their penultimate or final year at university.
