BDA transactions win two awards at ACG New York Champion’s Gala

Business Development Asia LLC (“BDA”) has received two awards from ACG New York for its deals in the Industrials and Technology sectors. BDA won the “Industrial Goods and Basic Resources Deal of the Year” for its work on Jiangsu Xinghe’s partnership in 2011 with Baird Capital and Investor Growth Capital. BDA also won the “Technology, Media and Telecom Deal of the Year” for its 2011 work on Materion’s acquisition of an optical film filter company, EIS Optics.
BDA advised Jiangsu Xinghe Group on a strategic partnership with Baird Capital Partners Asia and Investor Growth Capital Asia for its instrumentation valve and fittings subsidiary Jiangsu Xinghe Valve, for an undisclosed consideration. BDA advised Materion Corporation, one of the world’s premier advanced materials companies, on acquiring EIS Optics Limited from a group of financial investors including Fleming Family & Partners and Nova Capital Management Limited. Consideration for the transaction was approximately US$24 million.
