Successfully closed over 20 transactions across Advisory (M&A / PE) and Capital Markets (IPO / QIP), with a dedicated coverage of Technology sub-sectors including Enterprise Tech (IT Services/ Products, BPM, ER&D and Analytics) & New Age Tech (HR Tech, SaaS, Consumer Tech) and EdTech sub-segments (K-12, Test Prep, Upskilling & Re-skilling). Some of his key transactions include advising 3i Infotech on sale of IT Products business to Apax Partners, representing Eclipse Global (Personiv) in its acquisition by eClerx Services, sale of domestic CRM business of Hinduja Global Solutions to Altruist Technologies, advising Motif in its acquisition by TTEC, sale of Incessant Technologies to Coforge (NIIT Technologies), advising What’s On India in it’s acquisition by Tribune Digital Ventures. He has worked with a number of clients including IndiaMart, Route Mobile, Majesco, Mastek, AxisCades, Byju’s, CL Educate, What’s On India, TIME Education amongst others.
Before joining BDA, Mr. Gagrani worked with Edelweiss Financial Services as a Director in the Technology and Education Investment Banking practice. Before Edelweiss, he was part of the Technology Investment Banking practice at Ernst & Young. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (rank holder in CA Level 1) and has graduated from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics in Mumbai. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
