Karen Cheung is a Partner and Head of Consumer & Retail, Asia, based in Hong Kong. She joined BDA in 2012 and has close to twenty years of M&A experience.
She has advised both global private equity and corporate clients on cross-border transactions with the focus on Consumer & Retail. Subsectors she has been involved in include supply chain manufacturing, beauty, F&B and mother & baby products. Recently she led the sale of Hop Lun to Platinum Equity, Navis Capital’s divestment of Texon to Coats, and the sale of ASG Print to GPA Global. She has also advised on many founder-led businesses including Amazon Papyrus, N-Kid, Quasar, Concung and Hop Lun. Ms. Cheung is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and has a BA in Commerce from the University of Toronto. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
