BDA advises HD Hyundai Marine Solution on acquisition of Goltens

BDA Partners is pleased to announce that its client, HD Hyundai Marine Solution (“HMS”), has agreed to acquire Goltens Worldwide Management Corp from its family shareholders. The transaction is anticipated to close in late Q4 2026 or early Q1 2027. 

BDA was the exclusive financial advisor to HMS. The transaction values Goltens at an equity value of US$247.5m. 

Goltens is a global provider of engine and turbine services, in-place machining solutions, and environmental and sustainability compliance solutions, serving ship owners and industrial operators worldwide. Increasingly, that work supports customers’ decarbonization, operational efficiency and retrofit requirements across the marine, energy and industrial sectors. 

The agreement brings together Goltens’ global engineering and service capabilities with the complementary strengths of HMS. Goltens will continue to operate as an independent service provider, maintaining the service approach, customer relationships and technical expertise that have defined its business for 85 years. Its global network of service centers and field engineering teams is expected to create strong synergies with HMS, better serving HMS’s growing aftermarket customer base with faster, closer-to-customer support worldwide.
